Timp de trei luni, până pe 31 martie, reprezentanţii persoanelor juridice care deţin, folosesc sau desfăşoară activitate cu arme, muniţii sau în poligoane de tir sportiv sunt aşteptate la Inspectoratul de Poliţie Neamţ pentru reînnoirea vizelor. Este vorba de titularii de autorizaţii de deţinere sau folosire a armelor şi muniţiilor, atât cei care au sediul social în judeţ cât şi cei care au puncte de lucru aici, precum şi de cei care deţin autorizaţii de funcţionare a poligoanelor de tir sportiv.
Acţiunea ARMURIER 2012 a început pe 21 decembrie şi are ca scop, printre altele, prevenirea unor evenimente nedorite, dar şi identificarea şi sancţionarea faptelor penale sau contravenţionale ce s-ar putea produce prin nerespectarea legislaţiei în domeniu. Conducerea IPJ Neamţ doreşte şi o actualizare a bazei de date cuprinsă în Registrul Naţional al Armelor, ultimul recensământ al deţinătorilor şi utilizatorilor de arme fiind făcut în 2010.
